We’re on a road trip to Arkansas for the Authors Rocking Little Rock book event. It’s our first time in Arkansas, and we’ve passed some beautiful areas during our road trip. Our first stop was halfway in Knoxville, TN, after a ten-hour drive from NJ. We had dinner at Barrelhouse BBQ, and it was delicious! The brisket was amazingly tender and tasty. The next morning, we were up bright and early and driving through the mountains to finally reach Little Rock. Along the way, we saw some beautiful mountain scenery and discovered that part of Tennessee was in EDT, while the other was in CDT. Weird, right? Imagine working in one time zone, but living in another! Anyway, when we reached Little Rock, we unloaded, had a little rest, and then went out to dinner. I had seen a restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and we went to Downtown Little Rock to eat at Bruno’s Little Italy. “Italian in Little Rock?” you might say. The food and ambiance were delicious. When we got back to the hotel, we set up our tables for today’s book signing.
