Inspiration for Buried Truths

I love strolling along the boardwalk, but I also love taking hikes in the woods. I love the quiet and the sunlight coming through the trees. In the spring months, there’s the new green of the trees, flowering dogwoods, and violets in patches of purple and yellow. There may be a spring nearby with the rush of water from a spring rain. Maybe some frogs, peeping away. There is a sense of peace, but also expectation, since you never know what will be around the bend. Hikes like that inspired the opening scene in BURIED TRUTHS as police officer Mark Dillon is taking his cane corso, Rocky, for a spring walk on a mountain trail.
