Will You Choose Vintage or Futuristic?

I love automobiles, both old and new. But I have to confess that I lean toward loving classic cars. Seems fitting since I drive a 23 year old Sebring convertible! LOL! One of my fav cars is the 1967 Camaro SS convertible like the one Guy Fieri drives on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives or Trey Gonzalez has in Lost in Little Havana. What about you? Do you think you’d love a vintage car like the 1950s pickup below or a futurist EV Rivian?

30 Plants a Week Challenge

I’m still working on my transformation and as I’ve mentioned over the many months, one of the things we’re doing is eating more fruits and vegetables. I’ve been feeling healthier with that and certainly my gut has been better. I’ve recently seen a number of articles about the 30 plants a week challenge which is intended to improve your gut biome. Recent studies suggest that your gut biome plays a role in so many things, including possibly even improving brain health, boosting immunity, and helping prevent a number of diseases. I’m going to try the challenge and if you want to also try, there’s a handy PDF that will help you with the challenge at https://bit.ly/44MV3jl.

Help Choose a New Cover

I’m working on the release of The Fifth Kingdom which is an action-packed romantic suspense about an archeologist and FBI agent trying to stop terrorists from getting their hands on a world-ending weapon. To do that, the archeologist must find her long-lost mother and the location of Montezuma’s tomb. I love this book because of the history, romance, and the tender moments between the kick-ass heroine and her father as well as the heroine and the tortured alpha hero. Did I mention there’s a very amazing twist in the story as well? We’re working on the new cover and hesitating about the fonts for the title. Which one do you like? This or That?

Researching a New Story

I’ve already written two baseball romances (Rookie of the Year and Winning Season) and am working on another story that has a connection to baseball. Yesterday we went to see the Angels and their stadium. It was an exciting game with several home runs, including one by Ohtani. Over the next few days we’re visiting the Dodgers and Padres. I’m busy taking photos and making notes so I can make my scenes in the new story seem more authentic. Sharing these photos with you!

Where in the world is Caridad?

I’m in California for the RWA Conference and after the book signing, I decided to do a little exploring. I did a nice walk around this very interesting place and I wanted to share some photos with you. Can you guess where it is? Hint: in California and on the coast. Not far from Anaheim either.
