Shoutout Saturday: Defended by the Bodyguard

A big THANK YOU to D. Antonio for her 5 Star review of DEFENDED BY THE BODYGUARD. I loved finally being able to give Robbie and Selene their happily ever after, and I’m so glad Donna loved this story. Here’s what she had to say about it: Love, danger and excitement. This tale has it all. Thank you again, Donna! If you haven’t already read it, grab your copy at https://amzn.to/41IRZVs.

This or That: Do You Love Chocolate Eggs or Jelly beans?

It’s almost Easter, and for my family, that means Easter Egg hunts, Easter baskets filled with chocolate bunnies and eggs, little gifts, and jelly beans! I confess I’m partial to the chocolate more than the jelly beans. What about you? P.S. Did you know you might find some Easter Eggs in my books, like the mention of a restaurant from the SIN HUNTERS series in the AT THE SHORE series? There are a few others here and there for all my friends! You might find more in all my 99-cent special reads (https://amzn.to/4bLx36d) and also in the books that are FREE on Kindle Unlimited (https://amzn.to/3PAt7wv).

Happy April Fools’ Day

According to History.com, there are several possible origins for April Fools’ Day. One theory is that it relates to the change from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar and the confusion that some experienced. Those who could not remember when the year started, now on April 1, were considered April Fools. Then there is a possible connection to Ancient Rome and the celebration of Hilaria (joy), where people dressed up and often mocked others. Regardless of the origins, April 1st has become known as a day of pranks and jokes! P.S. It’s no joke that I have several books at 99 cents (https://amzn.to/4bLx36d) and also for FREE on Kindle Unlimited (https://amzn.to/3PAt7wv).

Special March Moment

Before March slips away, here’s a little moment that made this month special! We had just spent half an hour playing with the water in the new frog fountain, and now it was time to check out the little playhouse our neighbors have in the back. They have two little ones, and we often do things in our shared space for the kids. My little one loves going into that house, and I decided to add one of the outdoor chairs there. He was over the moon with that! Now it was his little man cave. I’m planning to look for some kids’ stools and a little table for the house. Maybe add some playthings like mugs and plates. What do you think? Did you have a special moment this month you’d like to share? P.S. There are lots of emotional moments in THE FAMILY SHE NEVER MET, a story about three generations of women dealing with separation and finding a way to end their pain. It’s FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Do you love Cowboy Romance or Office Romance?

I have many friends who love cowboy romances, and to be honest, cowboys can’t be incredibly appealing. But I also see the draw of office romances since they have that element of the forbidden, where the lovers don’t want anyone to know they are involved. What about you? Do you prefer cowboy romance or office romance? P.S. If you love office romance, you might like ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, which features a romance between an older female trainer and a young, up-and-coming baseball player. Plus, it’s FREE on Kindle Unlimited and only 99 cents if you’re not. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4cdOJHD.

Happy National Black Forest Cake Day

Happy National Black Forest Cake Day! What could be better than a taste of tart cherries, chocolate cake, and whipped cream? A few years ago, we actually were able to eat Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest during one of our river cruise locations. We were lucky enough to visit a living history village ???? in the Blac k Forest to see how people actually lived in this area. It was a lovely day, strolling around the village and seeing the recreations of how different tools and foods were made. I’m sharing some photos from that visit! P.S. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned Black Forest Cake in a book! LOL! But if you want to get into some summer vibes early, how about picking up ONE SUMMER NIGHT for a taste of the Jersey Shore? It’s only 99 cents at https://amzn.to/4rYU36s.

Wonderful Book Launch Party

Last night I went to a wonderful book launch party held by one of my local friends, Diane Crecca, to celebrate the release of her debut novel, THE NOSE KNOWS. It’s a cozy mystery set on the Jersey Shore about a woman whose unique and powerful sense of smell helps her solve crimes. If there’s anyone who knows about the power of smell, it’s Diane, who is a professional nose. Yes, you read that right. Diane has worked for many years with an assortment of companies to create and test fragrances because of her amazing sense of smell. Makes her the perfect person to write a book like THE NOSE KNOWS. I’m sharing some photos from last night’s fun event! If you love cozy mysteries with a unique heroine, grab your copy today of this and Diane’s companion cocktail recipe book at https://amzn.to/4sDHOxn.
