Happy National Working Moms Day! I was a working mom, and I think that’s part of the reason I’m appreciating babysitting my little grandbaby! I’m getting to do things with him and see him grow in ways I wasn’t able to with my daughter. I don’t regret being a working mom because I was able to spend a great deal of time with my daughter and provide her with a good life. We have a fabulous relationship, and I hope to have the same relationship with my grandbaby. What about you? Are you or were you a working mom? How do you feel about that?

Happy National Napping Day! Some of my most treasured memories are of naps with my daughter. We would snuggle together on the couch in our family room and close our eyes for an afternoon snooze. Now I’m making new nap memories with my grandbaby! As I did with his mom, we’ll zonk out on the couch together, and it fills my heart with joy! What about you? Do you love taking a nap? P.S. I love having more daylight at the end of the day, but I can’t say that I’m a fan of Daylight Saving Time. It just seems to mess up my body clock for a few days, and I always wonder what it would be like if we didn’t do all the time switching, especially in the fall.
