Carlo da Costa, the sexy caterer from NEVER A BRIDE, has to be one of my all-time favorite characters! Carlo is so patient, kind, and loving. It was so awesome to finally give him his story with Emma. But besides being a chef and best friend to Emma, Carlo can let his hair down to enjoy his life on the Jersey Shore. #ThrowbackThursday – Philadelphia Flower Show 2020

With all that’s going on, I think we could all use a dose of beauty! Today I’m sharing photos from this year’s Philadelphia Flower Show in early March. It was lovely and I had a great time hanging out with my sister, niece, and a family friend. I can’t wait until next year and more importantly, to do more work in the garden soon. I’ve already been able to plant a few things and just got a shipment of bulbs that need to go in for spring and summer flowers. I can’t wait.

#TransformationTuesday & Happy St. Patrick’s Day

It’s a weird kind of St. Patrick’s day with parades and other events canceled on account of the coronavirus situation. Truly scary times and challenging in so many ways. I hope you are all staying safe and sound.

As for me, I’m staying away from the gym this week and have set up a little workout area at home where I can lift some weights and do some yoga and other exercises. No sense taking risks at this point.

#MondayBlues – No Road Trip for Me!

I was supposed to be on my way to the BookLovers Con in Nashville today, but unfortunately the conference has been postponed. I know this wasn’t an easy decision for them, but I appreciate them making this call for the safety of all involved with the conference. Thank you.

#FashionFriday #FitnessFriday – What’s a Girl to do?

Yesterday I started packing for the upcoming BookLovers Con and ended up doing a cleanse and pack of my closet for our upcoming move! I donated several bags of clothing and luggage and only kept a small number of items for the future. Business suits: mostly gone. Button-downs: Just kept a few. The one thing I didn’t realize was that I had been able to move from my “Big” clothes to my “Skinny” ones. That included two “promesa” pants. What’s a “promesa?” It’s a promise and I had promised myself that I would one day be able to fit into those pants. Well, I was finally able to keep that promesa and fit into both pairs. One pair was way too long and just didn’t look all that good so I donated it, but I kept the other pair!

As I mentioned, I had to decide what to keep and what to trash, which raised this following decision: Which Mets Jersey to keep?

LOL! You know I kept them all!! I’m a die-hard fan and will totally wear each of these depending on the game and my mood.
