So much has changed in the publishing industry since my first book was published in 1999. Wow! So long ago. We’re lucky to have so many choices on how to read, from print books to e-books to audiobooks. I confess I still love having a print book in my hand. I’ll open an e-book only if I don’t have a print book or am unexpectedly waiting for something. Happy National Pizza Day! I love pizza, and even though we’re trying to watch our carbs, we had pizza on Friday. It was Jersey Shore-style pizza, which means it was quite thin. It’s become our new fav since we downsized and moved to the shore. When I was in school in Philly, the pizza was doughier and not generally sold by the slice, unlike the New York-style pizza I grew up with. What about you? Do you love pizza? We’re seeing new and dare I say, historic low temps along the Jersey Shore! I don’t think I remember cold like this in a long time, which means it’s time to make something warm and stick-to-your-ribs for dinner. Today I’m making braised short ribs with cheese grits, but normally, my favorite winter comfort food is soup. Any kind of soup.
