Happy National Ice Cream Day!

Happy National Ice Cream Day! I’m heading home today and probably won’t get to celebrate by having a scoop of ice cream. I hope you’ll have a scoop on my behalf. My fav ice cream flavor lately is chocolate peanut butter from Callie’s Creamery. Callie’s is a local, family-owned shop. Unfortunately, they just suffered devastating damage thanks to some flooding. There’s a GofundMe to help raise money so they can reopen. I made a donation, and if you can spare even $1, it would be wonderful to help this family open their ice cream shop again. The GoFundMe is at https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-rebuild-our-family-ice-cream-shop.

Happy Shoutout Sins of the Flesh

Good morning! On this Shoutout Saturday, I want to say thanks to the fabulous Gloria L., of the Paranormal Romance Guild for her review of SINS OF THE FLESH. If you love romantic suspense with strong paranormal elements, this book’s for you! Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4bPzZy2.

Here’s what Gloria had to say! “To say the story was exciting, sensual, well thought out, and just a good ole fashion page turner would be just the right thing to say to size up Sins of the Flesh…”

Fun RWA Day 1

I got in late last night and was welcomed by this gigantic flamingo! Fun! Even more fun was getting up early to meet friends for breakfast and spend time with them before going to an assortment of panels. I was breaking in new sneakers, which go perfectly with the flamingo theme. During breaks between the panels, I dropped by the goody room where they had a cute assortment of ribbons to choose from. I picked up a few, and now the question is, to ribbon or not to ribbon? LOL! But seriously, it’s been a great day meeting with old friends and making new ones. We’ve been chatting about our writing and what we’re doing. We also decided to discuss the goals we had. I settled on three goals. My first was getting to 100 written books. I’m about 20 books away from that, so it’s an attainable goal. The second was to write for the next 20 years so I get to spend time with my daughter at book events. Also attainable. Last, but not least, to get a new contract with Harlequin, and also sell a bigger romantic suspense book. One is more attainable than the other, but a girl’s gotta dream. So, I’m sharing some photos from today’s Day 1.

Sprucing Up Some Favorites

I’m getting ready for the last book signings of the year and kicking off 2027 at the fabulous Coastal Magic Convention. With nearly 80 published books, I normally only take some favorites with me to the book signings. But there were some books that were favorites that I haven’t been taking, and I decided that they needed some sprucing up! I’ve got new covers and interiors for SINS OF THE FLESH and STRONGER THAN SIN, the first two books in the Sin Hunters Series. I love this series! The first two books are about evil scientists who are conducting genetic engineering experiments on innocent people. They are strong romantic suspense novels with that unique paranormal twist. What do you think about the new covers? You can grab these books at https://amzn.to/4w49oWf.

Happy National Mac and Cheese Day

Sweet dreams are made of cheese, who am I to dis-a-brie, I’ve traveled the world, looking for cheddar… LOL! I am a cheese lover, and what could be better than adding it to macaroni to make an ooey-gooey pan of cheese goodness? Happy National Mac and Cheese Day. I’m spoiled because my son-in-law makes the best mac and cheese! I love it whenever he makes it for us. I make mac and cheese for the grandbaby all the time, the easy way. Just add a little milk or half-and-half to cream cheese, melt, add a ton of cheddar to make the cheese sauce, and then add the pasta! He loves it! What about you? Do you love mac and cheese? P.S. I have several books that are either specially priced at 99 cents or free on Kindle Unlimited. You can download your copies at https://amzn.to/4aQMRnl.

Behind the Scenes ONE SUMMER NIGHT

Good morning! It’s Motivation Monday, and I wanted to share with you what motivated me to write ONE SUMMER NIGHT! After writing dark stories for about a decade, I decided it was time to write something lighter, full of female friendships, and the kind of happily ever after that leaves you feeling joyful. I decided to do a series of books around three friends and what happens as they each fall in love and get married. But where to set the stories? Well, I love the Jersey Shore and wanted to share it with you! The fictional town of Sea Kiss is based on two of my favorite towns at the Shore, namely Belmar and Ocean Grove. Today I’m sharing some photos from those towns with you! If you haven’t read the At the Shore series, you can grab the first book in the series, ONE SUMMER NIGHT, for only 99 cents. It’s a story about first crushes, a family feud, and enemies to lovers. Download your copy today at https://amzn.to/3OCLwsn.
