This or That: Hot or Iced?

I’m a hot coffee kind of girl but no foam, please. I’d rather not pay for air. My daughter, on the other hand, always orders iced coffee. Even in the dead of winter! What about you? Marzo è Pazzo

The Italians say that Marzo è pazzo which means March is crazy. I’ve got to agree with that. We’ve seen a rollercoaster of temperatures on the Jersey Shore, from the high twenties to today, when we will hit the low eighties! I’m going to take advantage of the weather and do some more planting. That’s the one thing that I love the most about March (besides my birthday!). Happy Spring Flowers

It’s been warm enough in the garden to do some clean-up and also plant some flowers and vegetables that can tolerate a little chill. It’s also time to think about pulling a sun-ripened tomato off the vine but to do that I need tomato plants to plant in early May. So I’ve gotten my seedlings going in the garage. Not my usual place and I’m hoping it’s warm enough but with the grandbaby, I can’t have my normal set-up. I’m also trying something new this year: cold-weather crops. I’ve got two different lettuces planted as well as some brussel sprouts. Hoping to get a crop out of them by mid-May when I put in the summer vegetables. P.S. Great Toilet Paper Debate

For many years my family was embroiled in the Great Toilet Paper Debate. Hubby was always an over-the-top guy and I was an under it goes. But the 1891 patent for perforated toilet paper shows just how the inventor intended for the paper to go: over-the-top. I’ve converted and am now firmly in the over the top camp. What about you? Over the top or under? P.S. It used to be that when you traveled abroad, you were advised to bring a roll of your own because foreign TP could be a little rough.
