Happy National Pancake Day

I don’t normally do two This or That in a week but since breakfast is my fav meal and I’m often presented with this quandary, I figured I should put it to you also on National Pancake Day. Would you choose pancakes or waffles? Personally, I would choose pancakes or even French toast instead of waffles. Don’t know why. But occasionally, a good waffle hits the spot. Do you know what else hits the spot? 1.99 pricing on DECOY TRAINING and it’s the last day to get that pricing. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/3XiDDcA.

This or That: Fries or Rings?

Thanks to everyone who chimed in last week on whether they liked to dip or drizzle their ketchup or other toppings on their fries. But today’s This or That is an all important question! What do you get when you have the choice of fries or onion rings. For me, hands down, it’s onion rings. I just love them. And yes, I dip them in my ketchup although I think they would be even tastier with ranch dressing instead. What about you? Fries or rings?

Time for Spring Training Research

The wonderful Coastal Magic Convention is winding down but I had an AMAZING time. I met so many lovely people and we just had a blast. After this morning, it’s time to pack up and head down to Port St. Lucie to catch a Mets spring training game. More research for that baseball/romantic suspense that’s been percolating in my brain and slowly taking shape. P.S. If you like baseball romances, check out ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, my spicy story about a young rookie who falls in love with the team’s female trainer! Grab your copy at https://amzn.to/4i99gxl.

Fun at the Coastal Magic Convention

I’m having a great time meeting new authors, visiting with friends, and taking part in all the great panels and events at the Coastal Magic Convention. Yesterday I got to spend time with Mona Shroff and Sarah Nichols as well as act in this year’s murder mystery event. It was a blast to play the role of Pearl Gordon, the station chief for the Gear Harbor shipping docks. I traveled from table to table being interrogated since I was a suspect, and dropping clues so that people could guess who had committed the murder. I had a blast and I hope others did as well! Here are some photos from yesterday. I’m sorry I don’t have more, including some shots of yesterday’s rocket launch. Unfortunately, there were too many clouds that obscured the launch. If you’re in the Daytona Beach area, please drop by the book fair which is open to the general public from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Shores Resort and Spa ballroom.

Very Happy to Write THE END

I’m so excited about finishing COLD CASE K-9, #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series. This was a heart-tugging but also scary story to write. Colorado Bureau of Investigation agent Gabriella Ruiz is asked to assist in finding a missing hiker and Gabriella believes the hiker may have been taken by the serial killer who also took her sister nearly a decade earlier. The hero, Diego Rodriguez, is a new K-9 handler for Crooked Pass Security and he’s been asked to help since the CBI isn’t sure about Gabriella’s serial killer theory. Together with his K-9, German Shepherd Poppy, Diego will help Gabriella with the investigation and with handling the truth about her sister’s disappearance. As for scary, this is one sick serial killer! I can’t wait for you to read this story as well as the other books in the Crooked Pass Security series. You can pre-order the first two books at https://amzn.to/3D8av0I.
