Happy 25th Anniversary to me!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since the publication of my very first novel! I still remember the day that I got the call and the whirlwind that followed the publication of the book. Since my book, NOW AND ALWAYS, helped launch Encanto, the nation’s first Latino romance line, there were quite a few newspaper stories and my book appeared on the cover of Romantic Times Magazine. I also got to be on the local Fox News Early edition and was even interviewed by CNN. Unfortunately, that interview never aired due to some big news that weekend but it was still exciting. In the many years since then, I’ve been lucky to not only publish nearly 80 books, I ghostwrote a book for the Jane the Virgin television show and of course, there was the Hallmark Movie. Things most writers only dream of but do you know what’s been the most amazing part of this journey? YOU! ALL OF YOU! I have loved getting to meet you and spend time with you more than anything else. Lately, I’ve also been in heaven with being able to share this journey with my daughter, who is a fabulous writer and influencer. I look forward to the next 25 years of spending time with you and writing more books! THANK YOU ALL for being with me on this journey. Happy First Day of Fall

It’s hard to believe that summer has flown by and it’s the first day of fall! Along my neck of the Jersey Shore, it’s Local Summer and it’s been glorious. We’ve had some 80-degree days, but most days are in the comfortable 70s dipping down to refreshing nights in the 60s. Plus lots of sun and very little rain. I’ve had to water the garden a lot since I have a last bumper crop of tomatoes I’ve shared with neighbors and my daughter. I hope your end of summer is going well and that fall treats you well too! Happily Addicted to Bacon

It’s Fun Friday and I’m hard at work on #2 in the Crooked Pass Security series which will be available in July 2025. This is a story about a woman who has survived domestic abuse and a kidnapping and is trying to rebuild her life and reach for her dreams of being a professional singer. The hero is a tech guru from South Beach Security who will help protect her from a stalker who is growing increasingly violent. I’m almost done with the first draft and pushing to finish so I’m leaving you with a short post and joke today! I can’t take credit for it.
