Love it or hate it, Fifty Shades has captured the attention of many, but don’t count me to voice an opinion on it or give a review. That’s not my role as an author. However, with it being Fun Friday, this review was just too creative not to share.
Thanks to Katrina for a great laugh this morning! Keeping in the spirit of things, have a great Friday!
As you can see, I’m still doing the happy dance over the RITA nomination and in the final throes of getting ready to head out on Tuesday! Next week I’ll be finding a way to share up to the minute news, author stalking pictures and more! So check back regularly or follow me on Twitter, Pinterest or at my Facebook Page for photos and the like.
It’s so happy dance time to know that THE CALLING aka THE REBORN Vampire Novels will be starting up again in October 2012 with KISSED BY A VAMPIRE!
I hope you will love this book as much as I did when I revisited Stacia, the daring and deliciously dark vampiress you first met in DEATH CALLS. In her two thousand years of existence, Stacia has known betrayal from the men in her life, but never true love. Her one flirtation with Blake in DESIRE CALLS only goes to show her just how much she is missing in a life without love, especially when Blake finds true love in FURY CALLS.
KISSED BY A VAMPIRE also has a major shake-up from earlier books in THE CALLING/REBORN series. What is that shake-up? Well, unlike all the earlier novels which are set in Manhattan, KISSED BY A VAMPIRE is set in sexy, sizzling South Beach for a change of pace.
I hope you’ll like this little excerpt from DESIRE CALLS and that it’ll leave you hungry for another bite of Stacia in KISSED BY A VAMPIRE.

I’m in a blue mood! Why? That’s the color of the gown I bought for the RITAs!! So excited. The countdown has now begun, I guess. Less than two weeks until awards night. OMG! I am so nervous and freaking out a little about all the last minute preparations for the conference and awards night.
Since I’m in a blue mood, this is one piece of Man Candy, namely Gandy Candy, that deserves another look. He is soooo handsome. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone like that on my arm to escort me to the RITAs?

There’s a cute new song making the rounds that has inspired countless parodies, from Colin Powell to Jimmy Fallon and now, the Cookie Monster! So here goes with the Sesame Street take on CALL ME, MAYBE.

The original song actually features romance novels! Yeah. I did some research and it seems like the books used were SKYLAR’S OUTLAW by Linda Warren and the other one seems to be LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT by B.J. Daniels. What do you think?

Thank you!! Gwen you so totally rock. You are wonderfully comfortable onscreen and I hope this becomes a permanent gig for you. Thank you again for including THE CLAIMED on the show.
For those who are wondering about the “Romeo and Juliet meets the Jersey Shore” comment, no there is no Snookie in this book. Just nooky, LOL! This is a sexy paranormal romance set on the REAL Jersey Shore. The two fighting factions are energy gatherers who can take power from others and nature to gain power. With that power they can shapeshift and do lots of other cool things.

We had such a wonderful time this weekend at the Turn the Page Bookstore signing. It was so wonderful to meet the other authors and catch up with old friends. Plus, I brought my daughter and her friend and it was nice to have a girls’ weekend and spend some time together.
Many thanks to all the fans and friends who came out in the blistering heat for the event. You truly rock!
Also many thanks to Janeen, the manager, and her wonderful staff for running such a great event. Thanks to Nora and Bruce for inviting me! Also thanks to Ellen, Tom, Patti and all the wonderful staff at the Inn for making us feel so welcome.
