Best Halloween candy? For me it’s Butterfingers, hands down. I confess that I would dig through the Halloween candy and grab a few of the mini bars before we put the candy out for the trick or treaters. What about you? What do you think is the best Halloween candy? P.S. It’s time to dive into books with some bite, like the vampires, shifters, and monsters in THE CALLING IS REBORN series. You can actually grab the first book in the series for only 99 cents at https://amzn.to/3J0cHKQ. If you love spicier creatures of the night, take a bite of the novellas in the Dark Seduction series at https://amzn.to/4heXbrh.

I’ll be heading off to the Fall in Love with New England Reader Conference and Book Signing this weekend with my lovely daughter! We’ll be on several panels during the Friday conference and then participating in the book signing on Saturday. Tickets are still available for both events at https://www.fallinlovenewengland.com/. I can’t wait to spend time with you at all the fun Friday events, including a murder mystery crafted by my friends and I, a romance trivia game, and a panel on writing spicy scenes you don’t want your daughter/mother to read! LOL! After a Friday night cocktail party and trick or treat, it’ll be time for the book signing from 9:30 to 5:00 pm. I hope you can make one or more of these events!

A woman can work from sun to sun, but a writer’s work is never done! LOL! While I’m busy sharing my latest release, DEFENDED BY THE BODYGUARD, I’m also working on setting up events for 2026 and writing the first book in the COLD CASE K-9 series. The book is as yet untitled, but it’s about a woman who wants Crooked Pass Security’s new cold case division to investigate the disappearance of her father twenty years earlier. Although Crooked Pass Security is in Colorado, this case takes them to New Jersey and the various military installations in Sandy Hook and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. I can’t wait for you to read this book. Tentative release in 2027! OMG, that seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we all know it. In the meantime, grab a copy of the Crooked Pass Security books at https://amzn.to/47cmo2o.

OMG, it’s National Daughter’s Day and I want to wish my daughter a very happy daughter’s day! I am so proud to be the mom of this amazing woman. She’s a dedicated mom, a wonderful writer, and so helpful to other writers, sharing her knowledge of social media and volunteering in two different groups for the benefit of others. Plus, she’s funny and helps me avoid horrible fashion choices. LOL! Samantha, you are the best daughter anyone could ask for! P.S. If you want to help celebrate Samantha today, check out her latest release. It’s about the banished prince of an underwater kingdom whose secret is discovered by a surf photographer. As you can imagine, romance ensues! Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4mUTmcF.
