The moment the temperature creeps past 50, my mind immediately goes to spending time at the beach! I love packing up my beach bag with suntan lotion, some snacks and a drink, and the most important thing: a good book to read. I’m hoping to pick up a good book at today’s LSF Writers Book Fair at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton, NJ. Join me and an amazing group of local authors from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Salon B. The book fair is free for the general public so if you’re in the area, we’d love to see you!

I’m so excited to be taking part in Saturday’s LSF Writers Book Fair. I’ll be joined by my daughter as well as so many amazing local authors! If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll be able to come by from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton, NJ. We’ll be in Salon B and I’ll have some great sales on some of my books.

She approached slowly, heart racing in anticipation. Bending, she stroked a hand across the smooth, tanned surface. It was slightly damp from the misty spring day. Hand trembling, she inched it beneath the edge and encountered the hard, smooth surface. Slick beneath her fingers. As she parted the edges even more, she let out a surprised gasp. They were pretty. So so pretty! LOL! It’s unboxing time and it never gets old! CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING is the first book in the Crooked Pass Security series and it hits shelves on July 1 but you can pre-order your copy today at https://amzn.to/3FSuTUR.

It’s been warm enough in the garden to do some clean-up and also plant some flowers and vegetables that can tolerate a little chill. It’s also time to think about pulling a sun-ripened tomato off the vine but to do that I need tomato plants to plant in early May. So I’ve gotten my seedlings going in the garage. Not my usual place and I’m hoping it’s warm enough but with the grandbaby, I can’t have my normal set-up. I’m also trying something new this year: cold-weather crops. I’ve got two different lettuces planted as well as some brussel sprouts. Hoping to get a crop out of them by mid-May when I put in the summer vegetables. P.S. It may be too early to put in the summer veggies but it’s not too early to pre-order your copy of CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING, #1 in the upcoming CROOKED PASS SECURITY series. For all the dog lovers out there, Happy National Puppy Day! I love dogs and have loved writing the South Beach Security K-9 Division series. You’ll see more puppers in the upcoming Crooked Pass Security series, including loveable K-9 reject Corgi Delilah. But even though I love dogs, I don’t have one. A dog just wouldn’t fit in with my lifestyle but I love visiting with my sister’s dog and my grandpup Lily. What about you? Do you love dogs? P.S. If you haven’t read the K-9 series yet, grab your copies today at https://amzn.to/4hzMTQT. You can also pre-order Delilah’s story, CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING, at https://amzn.to/4c25xQo.

Happy First Day of Spring! It’s a day I’ve been waiting for since the first day of winter because I just love the spring and summer months. We’ve already been able to take some strolls along the boardwalk with the baby and I’m looking forward to taking him to the beach and playgrounds and spending time with me in the garden! Spring truly is a time of new beginnings. P.S. If you love audiobooks, the first two books in the South Beach Security K-9 series are now only 99 cents with an Audible membership!
