I’ve got a busy spring starting with the fabulous Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference book fair. Join 30 authors from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton, NJ. The book fair is open to the general public! I’ll also be close to home at the Belmar Book Readers Book Fair at the Taylor Pavillion on April 26th. May starts off with the wonderful Day of Wine and Romance and More! Always a fun few days at the Brook Hollow Winery! Then it’s road trip time to Las Vegas for the Book Lovers Convention and Virginia Beach for a little Lust in the City Takes on the East Coast. I hope you can visit with me at some of those events. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! My sister always reminds me we should celebrate since her DNA test said we were almost 20% Irish. They probably should say 20% Celtic since our grandparents came from the northern province of Spain which is a Celtic nation. I made our corned beef and cabbage yesterday since I have the grandbaby today which means sandwiches tonight. How about you? Any Irish in your family? Are you celebrating today? P.S. I’m busy pounding away on the keys to finish #4 in the Crooked Pass Security series (no title at this time) and I’m itching to start on a new three-book series for Harlequin Intrigue. I haven’t decided on the theme for that series, but I’m leaning toward it being about Crooked Pass Security helping detectives solve cold cases. I just love cold case shows! It’s National Plant a Flower Day not that I need a special day to plant a flower. I love planting flowers and veggies in my garden. One of my favorite flowers is the pansy. They come in so many colors and are so hardy. I pull out the summer annuals in September and plant my winter pansies that last through even the coldest days and are now starting to bloom again before any other flowers (except maybe the snowdrops). I don’t have a lot of time to read between writing deadlines, babysitting the new grandbaby, and just life in general. But I try to sneak it in and in the summer, I do get a few hours to just lounge under the umbrella and read. While I was in Florida, I snapped this photo of my friend’s lovely backyard. Wishing you all a Happy National Strawberry Day! I can’t wait until I can go out in my little backyard and pick some fresh strawberries. I don’t get many but the taste more than makes up for it!
