Wow, the holidays just rushed by and I hope you all had a lovely time. I’m coming down from all the time spent with family and friends and all the wonderful food and fun times! It’s hard to get back to work but I’m also excited about sharing a little something about Brett Madison, the hero in DANGER IN DADE. Brett is a former Marine who is part of the South Beach Security K-9 Division. His partner is Mango, a pit bull who is perfect for the protection assignment Brett has just received. There’s just one problem: the witness he’s protecting is chef Anita Reyes, the woman he loved at one time and who he ghosted after returning from a deployment. Why did he ghost her? Brett was carrying a lot of demons and didn’t think it was fair to burden Anita with his problems. But now danger will force them together and Brett will have to face his past and contemplate if he can have a future with Anita if they can survive the attacks on their lives. It’s Christmas Eve and my family and some friends will be gathering to celebrate. We do a combo Italian/Cuban dinner for Christmas Eve so right now I’m probably working on the roast pork and the sauce for the stuffed calamari. While doing all that cooking, I’ll also be celebrating the release of DANGER IN DADE, #4 in the South Beach Security K-9 Division series. All books in the series are standalone but have connected characters. I just love finding out what happened to the couples from the earlier stories. I’m sad to end this series, but also excited because we’re spinning off some of the characters, namely tech geniuses Sophie and Robbie, into the Crooked Pass Security series which will arrive in July 2025! During the Christmas season, hubby and I regularly have Christmas music on. We always play Christmas tunes while I put up the Christmas village, tree, and other Christmas decorations. We’re even introducing our new little grandson to it! My fav three tunes are All I want for Christmas, The Christmas Song, and Feliz Navidad. But who can’t resist singing along to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree or It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I’m very excited to join my fellow Harlequin Intrigue authors Katie Mettner and Juno Rushdan on Wednesday, December 11, at 8 pm EST.
