It’s hard to believe how quickly a month has gone by since Axel was born and how much he’s already changed. He’s so much more alert, eating more every day, smiles at us (and it’s not gas), and is so much stronger. I love this one month photo of him yawning and holding up one little finger. It was not staged. He just happened to do it while my daughter was snapping off photos. I hope little Axel brings a smile and a little joy as you head into the weekend. As for me, I’m off to help my daughter and son-in-law put the flooring in Axel’s nursery! Happy Friday!

I hope you all have a fabulous Labor Day and get to enjoy your time off. I know we’re all working hard and deserve this day of rest. A couple of weeks ago I shared my new coasters and asked if you wanted book covers on them. So many of you said that I should put the book covers on and I want to THANK YOU for the suggestion. I tried using just one cover but because of the proportions of a typical book cover, it wasn’t working with the square coaster. It’s National Girlfriends Day and I’m so lucky to have so many wonderful girlfriends starting with my amazing daughter! I’m also lucky to spend time with my lovely sister.
