It seems like yesterday that hubby and I graduated from Villanova University. It’s where we met and dated and Villanova will always hold a special place in our hearts since some of our happiest times happened there. One of them was our Senior Dinner Dance where we got to celebrate with our fellow Villanovans that were about to graduate and go on to the next phase of our lives. Hubby and I had planned on going to medical school but life took us down other roads and I’m very happy it did since it made it possible for me to become a writer, something I’d wanted to do since the fifth grade when my English teacher assigned a class project to write a book for a class lending library. Today’s Throwback Thursday is a toss to that Senior Dinner Dance! I can’t believe how young we look!

Hey friends! I’m author and journalist Terreece M. Clarke thank you Caridad for having me on Takeover Tuesday!
I write love stories about smart Black women who experience extraordinary love. My stories have heart, heat, humor, feet-kicking swoon, and plot twists that keep you guessing – and maybe throwing the book.
I grew up watching soap operas with my Granny and love high drama + suspense. Shonda Rhimes is BAE. If there’s not a disheveled bedside vigil for a main character are they even loved?
My Courageous Love series has three books out with a fourth book releasing May 1, 2024.
In Heartbeat, Maya is a successful architect who plans her life down to her color-coordinated closet, until someone tries to kill her. On the run, she devises a different plan: new town, new name, no men. Then a green-eyed detective with a past enters the chat. This book will destroy you…and put you back together again. I promise.
Love Never solves the mystery behind Maya’s parents Elise and Smooth. They only had 96 hours together, but shared a love that knows no bounds. Bring the tissues and grab the bonus epilogue to learn about the six-foot lady flower painting.
In Chaser, plus-sized, billionaire heiress Shayla St. Pierre has three broken engagements and a charcuterie board of lovers. When she proposes a friends-with-benefits relationship with Xavier Alexander, a devoted cowboy businessman he turns her down…until he doesn’t. Everyone thinks they’re a freak until they find themselves upside down against a refrigerator.
Coming in May is Fingertips. Selene Whitaker is the consummate professional whose life is thrown into comical, then deadly chaos when her one-night stand is revealed as Jacob Q. Fox, rancher, volunteer firefighter, AND her boss’s new client. When her past resurfaces the couple has to decide if love can endure when SHE’s the morally grey one?
Come by Caridad’s Facebook Fan Page and share your favorite Shonda Rhimes plot twist + tag a friend to possibly win an e-signed copy from my series for you both!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day
It’s a day for the wearing of the green but did you know that St. Patrick often wore blue? Other fun facts: corned beef and cabbage originated in the U.S. and the first St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in the U.S., not Ireland. I’m actually about 18% Irish according to a genealogy test but that’s not a surprise since my grandparents were from the province of Galicia in the north of Spain which is one of the Celtic nations. What about you? Any Irish connections? Does your town do a St. Patrick’s Day parade? My town does one and this year was the 51st Annual Parade. I captured video of some of the fire trucks that take part as they took off for the parade!
