Every Vote Counts Vote America
One of the most cherished moments in my life was becoming a U.S. citizen. It took over 10 years to pass through all the legal hurdles, but it finally happened just weeks before my 18th birthday. Had I turned 18, I would have had to start all over again since I was no longer a minor.
It was an exciting moment to finally become an American. Because of that, I don’t take voting lightly. I vote in every election because every vote does count. Even if you’re in a state that’s red/blue and you vote contrary to that state’s color, VOTE. It’s not a wasted vote if you stand up for what you believe in.

Road Trip Time Fall in Love with New England Conference
I’m off to the Fall in Love with New England Conference and I am so looking forward to it! There are going to be lots of fun games, panels and a book signing for readers and just as many wonderful opportunities for authors to connect with the readers and with each other.

My trip to San Diego for the Romance Writers of America conference filled me with lots of energy and new ideas.

#WriteWed Asbury Park Inspiration for Under the Boardwalk
When we first moved to our little piece of the Jersey Shore, Asbury Park was still attempting to recover from the malaise of the 1960s and 1970s. For decades, people were hoping the city would be revitalized and over the last six or so years, there has been an amazing change in the city. In fact, in a recent NY Times article, a local lawyer dubbed it “Brooklyn on the Beach.”
New restaurants and a new hotel as well as cornerstones like the Stone Pony, Wunder Bar, the Convention Center, and the Paramount Theater have made Asbury Park the “hip” place to be!
It was that new sense of energy that inspired the choice of the Asbury Park boardwalk for my UNDER THE BOARDWALK novella.
