#FunFriday – A Birthday Gift to You!

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I didn’t get to celebrate with you the way I wanted because I was in the midst of deadline hell and helping to get ready for the big conference with my local writing group. Now that I have some time to breathe, I wanted to give you this birthday gift. I’ve discounted the price on the box set for the first three TAKE A CHANCE sexy contemporary romance series with military heroes to .99 cents. I’d also like to ask you a favor, namely answer this question to help me decide what to write for my next book. The question is: Would you like a longer and sexier story featuring a military hero? I’m really trying to decide what to do and I have an idea for #4 in the At the Shore series, but I’m wondering if you’d want it sexier than #1 (or my upcoming #2).

#FunFriday – Book Signing at Liberty States Fiction Writers

So excited that our conference starts tomorrow! Today is all about getting ready for it by packing up tote bags for the attendees and getting everything prepped for Saturday and Sunday.

#FridayFact – Minister of Loneliness & a Ban on Best Friends?

This goes in the “You can’t make this stuff up” bucket. The U.K. just appointed a Minister of Loneliness to deal with the results of a study that found over 9 million Brits “often or always feel lonely” according to the NY Times (see http://nyti.ms/2BekEDe). At the same time, a British parenting expert supports a ban on “best friends” in school (see http://dailym.ai/2BeMjDZ).

Hmmm. No best friends and more loneliness. Could there by a correlation? I’d love to hear what you have to say about it!

#FunFriday – Annual Christmas Outing

Every year we do our annual Christmas outing to get our tree, a new ornament, and then head into New York City to see all the windows, visit favorite places, and check out the Nutcracker ballet. It’s always a fun day! Here is a video I put together from this year’s outing.

#FunFriday – A visit to the bookstore

As a book lover, walking into a bookstore is an experience for me. Walking around smelling all the books. Seeing all the covers. Checking out what’s on the shelves. I love it and of course, it makes for a long visit. If hubby is with me, he waits patiently. And waits. And waits. This photo shows how he probably feels during all that waiting. LOL!
