#ManCandyMonday – Vampire Adrian from THE VAMPIRE’S CONSORT

Although my books tend to be sexier, I never thought about writing erotic romance until I was asked to change up what I was doing since Nocturne Bites had become Nocturne Cravings. It was a whoa moment, but I tackled it with enthusiasm and the result was a very sexy book about a vampire and his consort. But it was also very much a romance between vampire Adrian and Eliza, the consort he had saved from dying of consumption. I really loved including various historical aspects in this novella as well as some very hot scenes with Eliza and Adrian. And I mean 5 chili pepper hot! LOL! Here is how I pictured Adrian, a brooding Irishman who is totally in love with a woman who he thinks would be totally wrong for him.

Since I’ve got the rights back to this story, I’ve rereleased it and have it up for 99 cents for a limited time as a way of saying thanks to all of you who have been so supportive over the years.

When I first saw Ryan Phillippe in I Know What You Did Last Summer I thought, Wow, what a gorgeous young man. He was such a great conflicted character in Cruel Intentions, but I never saw him as a rough and tough kind of military hero. I was wrong. He’s great in Shooter which just started its second season. #ManCandyMonday – Jonathan Pierce from WHAT HAPPENS IN SUMMER

When you plot out a series, you have to think about who will be the heroes and heroines in subsequent books. I always knew that #2 in the At the Shore Series, WHAT HAPPENS IN SUMMER, would feature rebellious younger brother Jonathan. What I didn’t expect is how much I fell in love with Jon in #1 ONE SUMMER NIGHT. As he came alive on the page I realized he was a tortured soul that needed love so badly because he had already lost it twice. First when his mother abandoned him as a child and then when Connie pushed him away after their summer fling. Not to mention that for all his rebelliousness all Jon ever wanted with a place he could call home surrounded by family and the friends to whom he is loyal. That’s why I love Jon and I hope you will too. When I saw this model, I knew he was just how I pictured Jon to look, right down to that sexy grin! So what do you think about today’s Man Candy?

#ManCandyMonday – Scott Eastwood

I’ve always thought Scott’s uber famous father Clint was handsome, but Scott has him beat! I just watched The Longest Ride and have to say I really enjoyed the movie. I was even more shocked that it was based on a Nicholas Sparks book since it had a happy ending. Scott has appeared in a number of movies and you can also catch him in this year’s Pacific Rim Uprising. I know I’ll be looking for lots more of Scott and those baby blues and hot body! #ManCandyMonday Tim Tebow

So I went all the way to Florida for Spring Training and didn’t get to see Tim, but luckily he came to me. Well, not just me. The Rumble Ponies rumbled into Trenton for some games with the Trenton Thunder and hubby and I braved the rain to see the game. Here are a couple of photos from the game. Tim did okay and I hope he gets his wish to play in the Majors. We need more positive role models like Tim in professional sports.

It’s wet and dreary in the NYC/NJ area, so I thought some of you might need a little heat in your lives.
