Without much of anything to watch while I was finishing #3 and editing it, I came across a fabulous historical on Netflix – The Last Kingdom. It’s the story of the son of a Saxon nobleman who is captured by Danes and raised by them only to find his adopted family slaughtered one night. The lead in the series is played by Alexander Dreymon and boy did he capture my attention. The story is also fascinating and has lots of intrigue, action, and of course, romance. Good morning! Sorry to have missed you for part of last week but I was laid low by a wicked cold! WHAT HAPPENS IN SUMMER (June 2018) is available for pre-order and I decided to go searching for a sexy blonde man who could play Jonathan Pierce, the rebellious surfer dude billionaire from the story. It was a tough go looking at all those gorgeous blonde men, but someone had to do it. Luckily I found sexy Matthew Noszka who totally fits what I imagined how Jonathan would look. By the way, do you know that women don’t favor blonde men on book covers? Really? I think Matthew would make a great cover model, don’t you?

My husband and I are hooked on Peaky Blinders. Think Boardwalk Empire but set in Birmingham, England. I love the history in the story, the romance and also, sexy lead Cillian Murphy. Cillian first caught my eye in 28 Days Later, a drama about a post apocaplyptic society where a virus has changed people into zombies. If you’re looking for something interesting to fill your nights, check out Peaky Blinders on Netflix and Cillian’s amazing blue eyes. Be warned though: You’ll have to turn on the closed captioning to make sure you’re getting all the dialogue on account of the British and Irish accents.

Dare I say that Justin is hot-hot-hot! Just tune into Jane the Virgin for a shot of his chiseled physique and you’ll know what it’s so hard to walk away from #TeamRafael on the show! Besides being an accomplished actor, Justin is also the creator of a digital documentary series titled My Last Days (look for Season 3 shortly) and an activist for the homeless and the terminally ill. It’s only 7 – SEVEN – days until Christmas and Santa wants to know if I’ve been naughty or nice! Well, I’ve been a good girl, but if this Santa came down the chimney, I could get naughty real fast! LOL! Have a great Monday.
I’m hard at work on #3 in the At the Shore Series and it’s taken a turn to becoming a Christmas story so I’ve tentatively titled it “A Sea Kiss Christmas.”
This story picks up where #2 – What Happens in Summer – ends, but I don’t want to give you any spoilers for that one! Actually, I will share that this story is about wedding planner Emma and her sexy caterer Carlo.
Carlo has always been a gentleman and Emma’s go-to guy, but somehow I think I’m going to have to peel some layers off Carlo to get him and Emma together. Maybe even a little bad boy side we hadn’t seen before, like this sexy Santa. What do you think?
