#ManCandyMonday – Jaime Camil from Jane the Virgin

So now that the cat’s out of the bag that I ghostwrote SNOW FALLING, the novel from JANE THE VIRGIN, I can admit to my MAJOR crush on Jaime Camil who plays Rogelio, Jane’s father. The character on the show is over the top, self-centered, and yet totally lovable at the same time. It takes talent to create that blend and have Rogelio be so interesting. Of course, he’s also very sexy. Catnip to us cougars! LOL!

Jaime started his career as a radio commentator, began singing in the late 90s, and eventually became a telenovela star in Mexico before l landing roles in various films and on Broadway. In 2014 he took on the role of Rogelio de la Vega, Jane’s telenovela star father. You can find out more about Jaime at his website at http://jaimecamil.com/. #ManCandyMonday Suit or Surfer? You decide!

So what’s sexier? A man in a suit (or getting out of it) or a sexy surfer dude? That’s the choice I had when writing the Pierce brothers, Owen and Jonathan, for the At the Shore Contemporary Romance Series.

#ManCandyMonday Owen Pierce from One Summer Night

I loved Owen from ONE SUMMER NIGHT from the moment he popped into my head. I knew he would be responsible, loyal, sexy and honest (although the last one was hard since I knew he was going to walk a fine line in order to have a relationship with Maggie.)

When I pictured Owen, he was always in a fabulous bespoke suit which fit his profession as a real estate tycoon. Even in casual clothes Owen was very buttoned up, but watch out ladies when it’s time for him to let go!

#MotivationMonday Meets #ManCandy

I am just back from the Fall in Love with New England Conference and I had a blast. I’ll share some photos later in the week!

#ManCandyMonday Tyler Hoechlin is my choice for Owen Pierce!

OMG! Just 8 days to go until the release of ONE SUMMER NIGHT so we have to get to the really important stuff, like who to cast for the movie! The hero in the story, Owen Pierce, is dark-haired and has charcoal grey eyes shot through with silver. He is drop dead handsome and dresses like someone off the pages of GQ in bespoke suits since he is a real estate tycoon.

After giving it a lot of thought and doing thorough research – a tough job but someone has to do it — my choice to play Owen Pierce in a movie version of ONE SUMMER NIGHT is Tyler Hoechlin! So what do you think?
