Casting Shane Adler from Decoy Training

One of the fun things as an author is imagining who might play your hero if they ever made a movie from your book. In Decoy Training, I pictured gorgeous Chris Pine playing Shane Adler, the wounded veteran who is seeking peace after wartime injuries force him to leave the Marines. What do you think?

Man Candy Michael Trevino as Luis

As a writer you can’t help but imagine who might play one of your heroes if your book was ever made into a movie. I got totally lucky when William Levy played the role of Tony Sanchez in South Beach Love which was turned into a Hallmark Channel Original Movie last October. But it has me wondering who would play Luis if someone ever decided to make a movie of The Family She Never Met. I had to do some research – a tough job but someone has to do it – and decided that Michael Trevino would make a great Luis. What do you think?

Baseball Man Candy and a New Release

The day for pitchers and catchers to report for Spring Training has passed with no end in sight for the baseball strike but I’m hopeful we’ll get to watch the boys of summer this year! My Best Book Boyfriend Ever

Some readers think that book boyfriends are better than real boyfriends! What do you think? Who is your best book boyfriend? For me, it’s Roarke from J.D. Robb’s In Death Series. If I had to pick a book boyfriend from one of my own books, it would be sexy vampire Ryder from The Calling is Reborn Vampire series. I have to say Luis from The Family She Never Met runs a close second.

Man Candy Monday Ryan Guzman

I just watched Windows on the World, an interesting movie about a young man who comes to New York in search of his father who was working in the World Trade Center on 9/11. As a New Yorker the concept intrigued me and it was an interesting movie. It also had a very handsome young man playing the lead: Ryan Guzman.

I had not seen Ryan before. He’s been in the successful Step Up franchise and also 9-1-1. I will definitely look for him again and I could see him playing the role of someone like FBI Agent Miguel Peters in Trapping a Terrorist. What do you think?

I have to confess that a well-dressed man in a suit is really sexy! The heroes in Trapping a Terrorist and my upcoming women’s fiction novel, The Family She Never Met, are both suit-wearing types. In Trapping a Terrorist, Miguel Peters is an FBI Supervisory Special Agent. In The Family She Never Met, the romantic interest, Luis Torres, is the CEO of the heroine’s family’s company. Both high-powered and sexy men in suits. So how about you? Do you like a well-dressed man in a suit? And do you prefer this or that?
