Comfy Fall Vibes

If you can’t make it to today’s workshop at the Ocean County Library, I hope that you’re able to curl up under a comfy blanket, pick up a good book, and read. It’s what I love doing during chilly fall days when I’m not out sneaking in a stroll along the boardwalk. I know I have only a little time left before it’s too cold to do that and I’m hunkering down against the sharp winds that hit our part of the Jersey Shore. Wishing you all a happy Saturday! P.S. Only 31 more days until the release of KILLER IN THE KENNEL! WOW! Time is flying by fast. Preorder your copy today at https://amzn.to/4f3guBN.

Serene Saturday Vibes

Every night after dinner, weather permitting, my hubby and I stroll down to the boardwalk to see the ocean’s mood. Whether gray and stormy or bright and calm, I love seeing what’s happening. The other day it was just so beautiful and serene that I had to take a picture. The moon was bright even though it was dusk, the ocean was relatively smooth, and the sky was that lovely mix of pink and orange. I’ll leave you with that photo for some lovely Saturday vibes! P.S. If you love some Jersey Shore vibes, check out ONE SUMMER NIGHT, specially priced at 99 cents. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/48a7GHH.

An Axolotl for Axel

Axolotl are apparently a big thing now with kids. So much so that when one of our great nieces and nephews heard my daughter was going to name her baby Axel, they thought it was after the cute little axolotl salamander. We did a trip to the local aquarium the other day and what did they have but a cute pink axolotl in one of their tanks. They also had a plush toy in the gift shop and I had to buy it for Axel. The kids loved the idea that Axel would have an axolotl. P.S. I have no books with an axolotl. The closest thing I have is a serpenty demi-goddess demon terrorizing archeologists in Aztec Gold. LOL. Exciting New Releases and WIPs

I’m busy working on the second book in the Crooked Pass Security romantic suspense series, tentatively titled DEADLY IN DENVER. The first book in the series, CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING, will be out in June 2025 and DEADLY will be out in July 2025. I’m so excited about this series which visits with the characters from COLD CASE REOPENING. I love seeing what’s happened with Rhea and Jackson and hope you will also! But don’t worry that you have to wait that long for another book from me. KILLER IN THE KENNEL and DANGER IN DADE, the next books in the South Beach Security K-9 series will be out in November and December of 2024. You can pre-order your copies or pick up the first two books in the series at https://amzn.to/4dp2t0A.

Loving All Things Vintage

I’m a lover of all things vintage maybe because of the connections they create to the past or people. This vintage tin came out of a small workshop area in my mother-in-law’s old home. My mother-in-law was a great cook but not much of a baker. But her mother, my daughter’s great-grandmother, was a baker. From pizzelles to amazing cream puffs, she could make the most delicious treats! I did a little research and it turns out this tin is from the 1930s which would confirm that it was hers. I can picture her putting her 5 pound bag of flour or Bisquick into this tin to keep it fresh. P.S. If you love stories with chefs, check out SOUTH BEACH LOVE. It’s chock full of amazing food and a wonderfully sweet romance. Plus, it’s specially priced at 99 cents! Snag your copy today at https://amzn.to/3Wps3ei.

Midsummer Garden Delights

I mentioned in another post how a garden has seasons and in this midsummer season there are lots of different things blooming. I did a little walk through my garden to show you how it’s going! I’ll have more photos for you later. P.S. If you love stories with gardens (and a chef), check out MORE THAN A MISSION, a romantic suspense where the heroine chef is suspected of poisoning a prince with goodies from her garden.
