Controlling the Past, Present, and Future

I watch a lot of documentaries about people, crimes, and so much more. I find them fascinating. I just watched one titled “They Called Him Mostly Harmless.” It’s about a dead hiker found in the woods and the search to find his identity. The story was fascinating and sad. The documentary ended with a quote from Douglas Adams about the past, present, and the future. I’ve always believed that you can’t move forward if you don’t know where you’ve been, but Adams had a different take on it. How do you feel about the past, present, and future? Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Today’s Sunday Vibes for me are all about errands. I’m putting in several hours on the book about an art heist, then brunch with a friend, and then running around to pick up some things I need for the week. I promised my daughter I’d help her put up shelves to organize her office, and I have to run and find the shelves and brackets for the project. Then it’s a stop at Lidl, which is nearby. I love their seasonal aisles, especially in the springtime when they have so many gardening items. After, it’s a stop at Costco for groceries!! Yikes, busy day. What about you? Brave Crocus Dares the Snow

Emily Dickinson wrote that “In March, the brave crocus dares the snow.” She couldn’t be more right this winter! I hope we are done with the snow, because I am looking forward to Spring and planting my garden. I already have snowdrops up, and the daffodils are poking their heads above the soil. No crocuses, which is funny considering that I love them. I will have to buy some for next year! Inside, the tomato seedlings are growing big, and I’ll have to transplant them into larger pots soon. I’ve worked out a schedule for moving them to the garage so I can harden them and get them in the ground during the first week of May. This close to the ocean, the weather is usually more temperate, and I can get started earlier! I hope so. I’m dreaming of sun-ripe Jersey tomatoes in June! Have a great Sunday! P.S.
