Happy Easter

I love spending time with family on Easter! It’s great to share a meal, spend time together, and watch the kids open their Easter baskets and search for the hidden Easter eggs. If you celebrate Easter, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sad Saturday Vibes

So sorry for not posting yesterday but it turned into quite a day. My phone had been acting up for days, badly, and we decided it was time to get a new one since it was several years old. Picked up the latest model, got some nice upgrades, but also lost a free subscription to some of our streaming services even though we were told we could keep them. Sigh. Then the brakes went on my car. Luckily it was as we were parking, but we’ll have to have it towed and see if it can be repaired. But at least today is a warm day with hints of sun before we get a heavy rainstorm. The rain is welcome for all the spring flowers and my camellia. Also, I have lots of plants blooming in the house. One of my air plants, my maxilarria orchid which is the dark purply one in the photo. The bloom is only about an inch and a half big. Then a bigger orchid, reblooming. Happy flowers! Hope you had a better weekend than I did! P.S. Only 3 days until spring!!!

Who hates losing that hour?

It’s time to spring ahead an hour for Daylight Savings Time! I absolutely hate losing that hour because it means I lose an hour of my early morning writing time. Why do I lose an hour? Because I end up getting up at 7 instead of 6 no matter how hard I try. Sigh. What about you? Are you okay with losing the hour or do you want your hour back?

Happy Read Across America Day

Wishing you a very Happy Read Across America Day! It’s a day to crack open a book and read and I know that this group of people knows what amazing things can be found in the pages of a book. During my entire life, books have transported me to new places and brought so many wonderful emotions. I can’t imagine not reading especially today. Why today? Well, it’s also the birthday of Dr. Seuss. I lovingly remember reading many Dr. Suess books and can say that they were a big reason I became such an avid reader. P.S. If you haven’t cracked open on of my books, today’s the day to do that. You can find over 70 romance novels and novellas in various genres at https://amzn.to/41DCpLK.

Time for Spring Training Research

The wonderful Coastal Magic Convention is winding down but I had an AMAZING time. I met so many lovely people and we just had a blast. After this morning, it’s time to pack up and head down to Port St. Lucie to catch a Mets spring training game. More research for that baseball/romantic suspense that’s been percolating in my brain and slowly taking shape. P.S. If you like baseball romances, check out ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, my spicy story about a young rookie who falls in love with the team’s female trainer! Grab your copy at https://amzn.to/4i99gxl.

My latest WIP COLD CASE KILLER

I’m typing away on my latest WIP, #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series, tentatively titled COLD CASE KILLER. It’s a romantic suspense about a Colorado Bureau of Investigation agent who is convinced a serial killer is at work and behind the recent disappearance of a female hiker. She’s also certain that the killer abducted her younger sister from a scout camp nearly a decade earlier. The CBI Agent has reached out to Crooked Pass Security for help in saving the missing hiker from the killer and proving that he’s behind several other murders. I’m almost at the end and the exciting climax as the CBI Agent and Crooked Pass K-9 handler assisting her race to find the killer and save the hiker. The first book in the Crooked Pass Security series is CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING and it’ll be out in July 2025. Pre-order your copy today at https://amzn.to/3WgNrTX and if you haven’t read the other books in the SBS series, download your copies at https://amzn.to/3C593vG.
