I’m typing away on my latest WIP, #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series, tentatively titled COLD CASE KILLER. It’s a romantic suspense about a Colorado Bureau of Investigation agent who is convinced a serial killer is at work and behind the recent disappearance of a female hiker. She’s also certain that the killer abducted her younger sister from a scout camp nearly a decade earlier. The CBI Agent has reached out to Crooked Pass Security for help in saving the missing hiker from the killer and proving that he’s behind several other murders. I’m almost at the end and the exciting climax as the CBI Agent and Crooked Pass K-9 handler assisting her race to find the killer and save the hiker. We’ve had a few dustings of snow over the last month or so, including on Christmas Eve. But now we’re waiting for our first real snowfall. I doubt we’ll get much of it along the Jersey Shore but inland may be a different story. I’m planning on an easy Sunday with brunch with a friend and the kids over for dinner to do an early celebration of Los Reyes, the Epiphany. The Three Wise Men have brought some gifts for them and the new grandbaby! Plus, some writing this morning. I’m currently working on #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series. It’s a story about stopping a serial killer and a woman finally bringing to justice the man who killed her younger sister. What are your plans for Sunday? Lazy or busy? Anything fun going on?

2025 is just around the corner and while I normally don’t make New Year’s resolutions, something made me want to do it this year. After thinking about it for a little bit, I came up with these five things I’d like to accomplish in 2025. Here goes and in no particular order!

Learn something new each day
Get more sleep!
Spend more time with family and friends
Write something different
Get healthier in every way

All good things, right? You may be wondering about that writing something different. I have the new Crooked Pass Series coming mid-2025 and the books are action-packed and romantic. But the one I’m working on right now, #3 in the series, is different. It’s more of a psychological thriller than my usual Harlequin Intrigue stories. I hope you’ll like it! What about you? OMG, there are only 18 days until Thanksgiving! My daughter and I are busy working up our dinner menu and deciding who will make what dish for the meal. We’re staying home for the grandbaby’s first Thanksgiving and having some family over to share the day with us. We’re grateful for so many things this year and want to share the optimism and happiness with our family and hopefully, with you. Are you already planning your Thanksgiving menu? It’s the first Sunday in a long time that I’ve got nothing I absolutely have to do – besides work on #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series. I have a standing brunch date with a friend and then I may just take a stroll on the boardwalk or putter in the garden a bit. Maybe I’ll make gnocchi for dinner tonight. Wish me luck! What about you?
