When the sun’s blazing in spring and summer, catch me chilling under my beach umbrella, devouring a steamy romance novel. But come fall and winter, I’m all about snuggling up on my sofa with a fuzzy blanket and my current read. So, are you a bookworm who prefers sandy toes or cozy blankets?

I live in a divided house during the Halloween Candy Wars. My son-in-law and I are team Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups while hubby is a loyal Milky Way bar fan. My daughter is a wildcard with her love of Milk Duds. Our sneaky Halloween trick? We totally rifle through the candy stash before the trick or treaters arrive, snatching up our favorite treats. Come on, don’t pretend you don’t do the same! So, what’s your all-time favorite Halloween treat, and are you a candy sneak like us?

You guys always surprise me with your This or That picks! You love hairy chests and burly men, something completely different from what you normally see on romance novel covers. Today, I’ve got another challenge for you! Will you surprise me again? Would you rather see a young buck on the cover, or will you heat up the night with a dashing silver fox in your steamy stories?

I’m back from our epic Korean adventure and I had a fabulous time! While we were there, we chowed down on meaty dishes, slurpy noodles, and rice dishes. I have a soft spot for rice specialties since “bap” reminds me of my childhood. We ate rice almost every day! But on the flight home, I had visions of my ultimate fav comfort foods: burgers and pizza. I’ll let you in on a little secret, burgers are my all-time favorite! However, my sweet son-in-law surprised us with some mouth-watering Pete’s Pizza from the Columbus Flea Market for our homecoming feast. Pete’s makes the best pizza ever. Even my Brooklyn-born and raised hubby thinks so! Pete’s calls them tomato pies but no matter what it’s called, it’s delish! So, what’s your ultimate welcome home dish? Would you go for a juicy burger or a cheesy pizza?

While I’m prepping more travel photos for you, let’s have some fun with another edition of “This or That”! Do you prefer e-books or print books? Personally, I love print books, especially when I’m reading on the beach. There’s something about holding a book in my hands that’s comforting. Time for a big confession: I’m one of those “bad” readers who cracks the spine and dog-ears pages! If I don’t have anything else to read, I’ll resort to my phone, but it just doesn’t give me the same feeling. What about you? Are you an e-book lover, print devotee, or an equal opportunity reader?
