#ThrowbackThursday Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference

Today’s Throwback is to the 2010 conference! These are some of our volunteers helping to fill up the conference bag with goodies for attendees.

It’s hard to believe that the one coming up is our 8th Annual Conference. For more info on the Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference, you can visit http://www.libertystatesfictionwriters.com/conference/. This conference is for both readers and writers and I hope you will check it out.

#ThrowbackThursday 2010 Blizzard

Except for the day of my daughter’s big move, we’ve had a fairly calm and easy winter. I hope that keeps up! This picture is a reminder of a winter that didn’t go so easily – the winter of 2010. We went to bed and woke up to this amazing deposit of snow!

#ThrowbackThursday Holiday Traditions

Sorry I’ve been absent, but I’ve had lots going on. One pleasant thing I had going on was our annual trip to New York City to see all the Christmas sights. I’ll share those photos next week!

Today’s throwback is to last year’s trip. This is a shot of the angels in the Rockefeller Center Promenade, looking toward Sak’s Fifth Avenue.

#ThrowbackThursday Lucky 7 Romance Authors in New Orleans

I love my fellow Lucky 7 Romance Authors! What a talented, welcoming, fun and smart group of ladies. It’s always a pleasure to work with them on a project, like our new Lucky 7 Hot Heroes.

This is a photo of 4 of the Lucky 7 Ladies (from the left Sophia Knightly, moi, Susan Hatler and Virna DePaul all the way to the right). Sandwiched next to Virna and Susan is the lovely and talented Sharon Hamilton. If you like military heroes like those in my Take a Chance series, you’ll love Sharon’s sexy Seals.

#ThrowbackThursday RWA Conference and Cafe du Monde

I love going to the RWA national conference. It’s a great time to meet readers at the signing, go to workshops to learn more about the craft and business of writing, and meet with writer buddies. Today’s throwback is to a breakfast I shared with my Lucky 7 friends at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. I just loved the fabulous company and the totally tasty hot chocolate and beignets.

Here’s a secret for you: Look for another Lucky 7 release soon!

#ThrowbackThursday Baseball is in the Blood

You could say baseball is in our blood. We all love to play and watch baseball. I used to play catcher in high school and my husband was an outfielder for his Little League team. My daughter was a mean third baseman, just like her fav player, the Mets’ David Wright. Speaking of the Mets, so sad. I’m convinced I’m a jinx. Every time that I’ve had division playoff tickets, they’ve lost. I won’t buy them again. Sigh.

Anyway, today’s throwback is to my daughter during her high school playing days.

#ThrowbackThursday Turn the Page Bookstore Signing 2012

One of my most exciting times as a writer was being nominated for the 2012 RITA in the Paranormal Romance category! It was so amazing to attend the awards ceremony and all the related hoopla. It was also exciting because in July of that year I got to sign at the Turn the Page Bookstore and got to sit next to none other than Nora Roberts. What a fan girl moment for me. It was all I could do not to squee! LOL!

This is a picture of me with the amazing Nora Roberts at the signing at the Turn the Page Bookstore.
