I hope you’ve been enjoying the Tuesday Takeovers and meeting new authors! Today’s takeover author is new to me as well and I’m having fun finding out more about her and the books she writes. Please welcome steamy romcom author AK Landow!

Hello friends! Thank you to Caridad for having me today! My name is AK Landow and I’m a RaunchCom author (because my books are spicer than regular RomComs). I’m basically considered a funny pervert by all who know me. There is no need for that combination anywhere in the world except romance novels, so I decided to write.

I also decided to become an author because it pisses me off that there are so few romance novels where the MCs are over the age of 40, especially the FMCs. I wrote my first book, KNIGHT, as an FU to everyone and to let them know that us “oldies” still get it on. I fell so madly in love with both being an author and my fictitious family, that I can’t seem to stop writing.

My first series, the City of Sisterly Love, has 5 books and two novellas. The second series is titled the Belles of Broad Street. My third series, Extra Innings, debuted last month with a baseball AND softball romance. I’m excited to shed light on women’s sports and give it equal (if not greater) footing in romance novels.

My books all take place in a shared universe. Every single one of them (because I love my characters and can’t let go). I prefer to write strong, intelligent, supportive, sexually confident FMCs. The central family in my books is known for severe cases of oversharing and walking in on each other. Hilarity often ensues.

Hello Book Lovers!

I’m thrilled to join you on Caridad’s page! Quick intro: my name is Anna Grace, award winning author and lifetime educator. I’m a huge fan of snacks, art museums, and other people’s dogs. Like most Oregonians, I spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, or just dodging the raindrops. I’m the author of the Love, Oregon series, and that title pretty much sums up the feelings about my home state.

Today marks the launch of my second series with Harlequin Heartwarming! I’m so excited to introduce folks to Pronghorn, Oregon. Five energetic young teachers are recruited to revive the high school in a tiny, anything-but-idyllic town. Love and mayhem ensue.

The Teacher Project is near and dear to my heart. I was 22 when I started teaching high school and had no idea the job could hold so much drama! The friendships forged in those early days are reflected in this series.

Hello! I’m Tanya Agler, and I write sweet contemporary romances, nine of which have been published by Harlequin Heartwarming, including my latest release, Her Temporary Cowboy. A huge thank you to Caridad for having me for Takeover Tuesday this week!

I’m a big fan of romantic comedies. One plot twist in some rom-coms is how a misunderstanding rolls out of control and creates a series of events with each scene adding to the confusion and character stakes. I love a good misunderstanding in both movies, television shows, and books. One of my favorite movies is While You Were Sleeping, and I love how Lucy saves Peter and then a tossed-aside comment becomes the basis for the Callaghan family to believe she’s engaged to Peter. It’s not until the wedding that Lucy is finally able to muster her courage to tell the truth. In Her Temporary Cowboy, Lucky Harper wants one thing: he desperately wants to get out of attending the wedding of his best friend’s father to a world-famous singing superstar. In the space of two days and a host of misunderstandings, Lucky goes from reluctant guest to the groom’s daughter’s plus-one to an usher. When Lucky and Elizabeth get together, more misunderstanding ensues until they find themselves in a delicious dilemma.

Today, I want to share a recipe with you and tell you about my new Sisterhood of Chocolate and Wine series available from Harlequin Special Edition.

Each story takes place in the small coastal town of New Suffolk, Massachusetts. The Sisterhood is a group of six female friends who support each other through life’s trials and tribulations on the way to finding their happy ever afters.

Now for the recipe!

Layla’s Gourmet Burgers (featured in all of the stories):

Ingredients:
Equal parts ground sausage and hamburger (you can use ground chuck if you’d like)
Up to 1 TBSP steak sauce or Worcestershire sauce for each pound of meat
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup of grated cheese per pound of meat (I like a mix of Parmesan and Romano)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until well mixed
Form mixture into 5 – 6 oz patties
Cook on the grill over medium heat, or in a cast iron skillet with a 1 – 2 TBSP olive oil until desired doneness is reached (~ 3 – 7 minutes per side depending on how you like it cooked)
Serve on Brioche hamburger rolls (pretzel buns work great, too!)
Add your favorite toppings (sliced cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, bacon, etc.)
