My daughter and her hubby are taking us out tonight for our birthdays (hubby and I share the same day)! I’ve had this bottle of wine for a very long time and while I was downsizing, I realized it was from a limited vintage. I decided to go online and see what it was worth. To my surprise, one of the wine sites said it was valued at 1500 Euros (1800 dollars). WOW! It made me wonder if I should sell the bottle, but I really couldn’t vouch for its condition. As far as I knew, it hadn’t been in extreme heat or sunlight and the cork was still wet, but I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone, especially at that price. So after a family meeting, we decided we would open it tonight to celebrate a very special birthday. It’s either going to be a very expensive vinegar or an interesting wine experience.
