Happy International Women’s Day! On this day, I want to honor the women who have made such an impact on my life, namely, my mother and grandmother. They were strong-willed and independent. They always made me feel safe and protected. They encouraged and supported me, urging me to try so many different things and to go to college. I am the woman that I am because of who they were. I was blessed to have them in my life, and I miss them every single day.
