According to History.com, there are several possible origins for April Fools’ Day. One theory is that it relates to the change from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar and the confusion that some experienced. Those who could not remember when the year started, now on April 1, were considered April Fools. Then there is a possible connection to Ancient Rome and the celebration of Hilaria (joy), where people dressed up and often mocked others. Regardless of the origins, April 1st has become known as a day of pranks and jokes! P.S. It’s no joke that I have several books at 99 cents (https://amzn.to/4bLx36d) and also for FREE on Kindle Unlimited (https://amzn.to/3PAt7wv).
