Excited to Move This or That

I love playing This or That with you and finding out more about you based on what you choose! It’s been really enlightening, especially when it comes to choosing things like fav Man Candy attributes. Unfortunately, the posts have been so popular that Facebook has been taking them down for violating Community Standards. Facebook is now warning that they may limit my Fan Page and/or even remove it. Because of that, I’ll be moving my This or That post to the blog and to thank you for visiting there, I’ll be picking someone to win a $10 gift card for leaving a comment on that blog post. Look for a new This or That on Tuesday, September 3! THANK YOU!

An Axolotl for Axel

Axolotl are apparently a big thing now with kids. So much so that when one of our great nieces and nephews heard my daughter was going to name her baby Axel, they thought it was after the cute little axolotl salamander. We did a trip to the local aquarium the other day and what did they have but a cute pink axolotl in one of their tanks. They also had a plush toy in the gift shop and I had to buy it for Axel. The kids loved the idea that Axel would have an axolotl. P.S. I have no books with an axolotl. The closest thing I have is a serpenty demi-goddess demon terrorizing archeologists in Aztec Gold. LOL. Labor Day Reading List

For us on the Jersey Shore, the Labor Day weekend is the last weekend of the summer and the start of what we call Local Summer on Tuesday. That’s when the weather is still perfect for enjoying the beach without the tourist traffic the descends during the summer. But whether it’s summer or Local Summer, I hope the weather is beautiful for you all so that you can sit in your favorite place to read with a good book. If you need a book (or more) for the weekend, I’ve got several that are specially priced at 99 cents for you! Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4dXUyrr.

Please Welcome Tara Taylor Quinn

I’m so excited to have Tara Taylor Quinn with me to celebrate the release of her 125th (!!) book for Harlequin! I’ve known Tara for several years and it’s so awesome that she’s visiting and even better, she has a giveaway for you! To find out more about Tara’s latest release and how to enter the giveaway, please read on.

I’m so excited to be here to share my 125th book release month with you! This is a story that’s been with me a long time, nagging at me, until I finally gave in and wrote it. I didn’t see how it could work. I learned a long time ago that I have to get out of my own way and trust my muse, and this time, I failed to do so. Thankfully, my muse is stronger than my doubter. Once I got into the book, it flew. The people were real inside me. And the powers that be that are stronger than I am showed us the way. Seriously, three-quarters of the way through the book, and I had no idea how it was going to end. You’ve got these two people who truly love each other. They’re both good decent human beings. And their approach to life, their perspective of it, is so different, I didn’t see any possibility in future happiness for them. But their love just kept speaking to me. I should have known. Love is the most powerful entity ever. Anywhere. I failed to trust. But love, being love, was waiting with open arms to take me back. Then fate got involved. With a sense of humor, I’m thinking. It gave me this baby to deal with. I kept saying no, but the book wouldn’t begin without it. I just couldn’t get there. So, once again, I gave in. After all of this, it was no surprise to me when Harlequin (with several of my books completed in house) chose this one to publish for my milestone book.

So you have this, my 125th published Harlequin book, mixed with some pretty powerful life lessons, a boatload of suspense. Love. And a baby…

Baby In Jeopardy is the 17th book in my Sierra’s Web series. Published by two different Harlequin programs, these books are stand alone stories. They all involve Sierra’s Web, a nationally renowned firm of experts who assist my characters. To celebrate the release, I’ll be giving away an e-Book copy of the first book Sierra’s Web Book, His Lost and Found Family. To enter the giveaway, please comment on the post on Caridad’s Facebook Fan page at https://www.facebook.com/Caridad.Author.
