Happy National Napping Day

Happy National Napping Day! Some of my most treasured memories are of naps with my daughter. We would snuggle together on the couch in our family room and close our eyes for an afternoon snooze. Now I’m making new nap memories with my grandbaby! As I did with his mom, we’ll zonk out on the couch together, and it fills my heart with joy! What about you? Do you love taking a nap? P.S. Slow Burn or Insta-Love Romance?

There are so many romance tropes that we love! One of my favorites is second chance at love, but I also love stories where it’s love at first sight! Slow burn romances? Yes, I love those also. Do you like Daylight Saving Time?

I love having more daylight at the end of the day, but I can’t say that I’m a fan of Daylight Saving Time. It just seems to mess up my body clock for a few days, and I always wonder what it would be like if we didn’t do all the time switching, especially in the fall. Happy International Women’s Day

Happy International Women’s Day! On this day, I want to honor the women who have made such an impact on my life, namely, my mother and grandmother. They were strong-willed and independent. They always made me feel safe and protected. They encouraged and supported me, urging me to try so many different things and to go to college. I am the woman that I am because of who they were. I was blessed to have them in my life, and I miss them every single day.

Philly Flower Show 2026

Happy birthday to me! One of the ways I celebrate is to go to the Philly Flower Show with my sister! We went yesterday, and we had a lovely time. They’ve expanded the show onto one entire floor, and there were many floral displays, although I miss the HUGE garden displays they used to have. I hope that they’ll maybe bring them back, but the show was definitely improved from the year before. They also had all the vendors on the second floor, which was new. We did some fun shopping before hitting the Reading Terminal Market to get some sticky buns and Bassett’s ice cream! I hope you enjoy the photos!

Most Relaxing Part of the Day

What’s your most relaxing part of the day? For me, it’s the early morning when I sit down to write. I’m all by myself in my little office, my tasty coffee at my side, a blanket tossed over my legs while I work on my laptop. I usually write with the television on, something that most people can’t believe. But remember, I did most of my writing on the train ride to my job, so I’m used to having noise and commotion around me when I write. Still, it’s my most relaxing part of the day because once I’m done, it’s time to do other things, like babysitting, household chores, going to the gym, and more. So, what about you? P.S.
