Lovely New Profile Picture

A couple of months ago we had a fantastic workshop by the fabulous Siera London! My daughter was so inspired that she decided to hire her book cover designer to create a new profile picture for me to use on my social media and I LOVE IT! Samantha Ann sent this wonderful artist one of her favorite pictures of me and here’s the awesome result. What do you think? I’ll be off later to visit the Ax Man (Axel’s new nickname) and I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Shoutout The Fifth Kingdom

I’m off to my monthly meeting with the Liberty States Fiction Writers this morning but wanted to give this shoutout to Goodreads Reviewer Sherry for her review of THE FIFTH KINGDOM. This romantic suspense is one of my favorite stories. It features an emotional romance, interesting bits of Mexican history and food, a tortured mother-daughter relationship, an alpha CIA Agent, and a surprise that I don’t think anyone – even me – expects! It’s specially priced at 99 cents and you can snag your copy at https://amzn.to/4fIaRKe.

Happy National Book Lovers Day

It’s National Book Lovers Day! It’s probably one of the most exciting days of the year for a writer! As a writer, I’m a lover of books. I love to read them. I love the feel of them. Yes, I prefer having a physical book in my hands to reading on a device. I’m also one of those awful people who cracks spines and dog ears pages. So sorry to all the book lovers out there who are cringing about that confession. Now I know all of you visiting are book lovers because that’s why you’re here and a big THANK YOU for including my books in the ones you love to read. You can find them all at https://amzn.to/3WWJswv.

Celebrate National Pickleball Day

Hubby and I discovered pickleball a little over a year ago and we have standing dates to play every Tuesday and Thursday since it’s impossible to get a court on the weekend. This summer, unfortunately, it’s been way too windy to play since our public courts are right by a river inlet. Hopefully the breezes will die down enough for us to get some games in soon. We took this photo after a long series of games (hubby is hiding out from the camera!). Do you like pickleball? Any interest in playing? P.S. If you like sports romances, check out ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, a steamy baseball romance. Download your copy at https://amzn.to/3YBEA17.

Unboxing never gets old!

I had a surprise the other day when I got home: copies of KILLER IN THE KENNEL, my November release from Harlequin Intrigue. The unboxing never gets old and I’m so excited about this book. It’s a compelling story as South Beach Security opens a new K-9 training center only to find that a serial killer may be at work on the grounds of the abandoned greyhound kennels they purchased for their center. The hero is a reluctant one since he’s an everday real estate agent but he feels responsible since he sold his cousins the property and since he is intrigued by the K-9 trainer hired to run the new training center. It’s an action-packed and emotional story as SBS fights for justice for the women murdered by the serial killer and their families. You can pre-order your copy at https://amzn.to/3SAENhl.

Exciting New Coasters

A couple of weeks ago I shared my new coasters and asked if you wanted book covers on them. So many of you said that I should put the book covers on and I want to THANK YOU for the suggestion. I tried using just one cover but because of the proportions of a typical book cover, it wasn’t working with the square coaster. So I decided to use ALL the covers in the original South Beach Security series as well as those in the new K-9 division spinoff. I LOVE HOW THEY LOOK! What about you? What do you think? I’ll be giving away a dozen of these along with a dozen copies of one of my backlist books in this month’s newsletter. You can sign up for the newsletter at https://bit.ly/CaridadsNewsletter. If you haven’t read the books in the SBS series yet, download your copies today at https://amzn.to/3LUQxYf.
