Escape the Everglades is Finished!

Woo hoo! I wrote those magic words today: The end. Escape the Everglades, #2 in the South Beach Security K-9 Division spinoff is done. It’ll be off to the editor next week and hopefully, be out in late 2023. This is an action-packed book also filled with emotion as a single dad deals with raising his son after the untimely death of his wife and is also trying to stop illegal poaching. Let’s Get Going for the New Year

I plan on trying to get healthier in 2023 and one of the things I am going to do is make an actual plan. The first step is to set reasonable goals and here they are for starters:

    1. Get up and move every hour when I am writing.
    2. Try to get in at least 10,000 steps a day.
    3. Get back to doing some strength training even if it’s only a few cable pulls, kettle bell swings, or deadlifts.
    4. Eat healthier, especially more fruits and vegetables.

To stay honest with myself, I’m going to write it down and also track what I can with the new Fitbit that hubby got me as a Christmas present! The Naughty or Nice List?

I’ve made my list and I’m checking it twice if I can find it that is! My food shopping list has gone missing, LOL! ????I’m in the throes of writing #2 in the South Beach Security K-9 Division spinoff book and getting excited about the release of Brickell Avenue Ambush on Dec 27th. I’m also trying to finish all my Christmas shopping. Whew, so much to do. ????How about you? Are you ready for the holidays or do you have gifts left to buy?
