It’s that time of year when many of us will have leftover Halloween candy and admit it, you dig through the candy to haul out your favorites. I love Butterfingers and Reese’s peanut butter cups while hubby is a Milky Way fan. But that’s not the only difference in taste since I love milk chocolate and he loves dark chocolate. Today’s This or That choice isn’t a hard one for me. If I ever had to choose between being dressed up in heels or comfy casual in sneakers, the sneakers win hands down. In fact, I own way more sneakers than I do heels. But I do have my work sneakers and my dressier sneakers, LOL! What about you? Heels or sneakers? P.S. It’s National Dessert Day so what better way to celebrate than to have today’s This or That: Cake or Ice Cream! I don’t know about you, but when I dine out I sometimes look at the dessert menu to help me decide what to have for dinner. I try to leave space if there is a really good dessert on the menu. This is a tough one for me to choose. I love traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people. The downside: I hate flying but it’s a necessary evil. It’s true that you can’t eat just one and would you believe that if you look up “Studies on why you can’t eat just one” you’ll get dozens of articles trying to explain this phenomenon. Everything from why ultra-processed foods make us eat to how labeling them as “crunchy” is the trigger. For me, it’s that salty hit that I love! Up in Toronto, I got to try out ketchup-flavored chips. I actually liked them! Something about the mix of salt and a slight hint of tomato and vinegar did the trick. Normally I love flavored chips, like cheddar or sour cream and onion. But of course, plain chips are also tasty. What about you? Which chips do you prefer? Plain or flavored? P.S. My daughter has the ritual of having tacos on Taco Tuesday but I’m not as regimented as that. I normally make tacos whenever I pull some ground beef from the fridge. But when I do that, it also gets me thinking that maybe I should make a burger instead. Such a tough choice because I love both tacos and burgers. I have to confess, however, that burgers are probably my favorite food so you know what my this or that choice would be. How about you?
