This or That: Choose Your Christmas Tree

This year we didn’t do our traditional Christmas tree routine. Normally we go to the Anne Ellen Christmas Tree farm and cut down our tree. Nothing too big since we have a smaller place now. This year our usual Christmas tree spot is occupied by the baby’s swing so we had to go with the small artificial tree route. But even though it wasn’t a real tree, I decorated it with some cute mini wooden ornaments and lights. Hubby likes all white but I like color so we had both on the tree. What about you? Do you like a traditional tree or something more modern? P.S. Only 8 days until Christmas Eve and the release of DANGER IN DADE! Pre-order it today at https://amzn.to/4dt8sk3. Grab your copy of KILLER IN THE KENNEL too if you don’t already have it!

Pick Your Favorite

Around this time of year there is always some kind of candy floating around my house for when guests visit and of course, to decorate the Christmas tree. Hubby loves the peppermint candy canes but I hate the flavor of mint so I tend to grab a chocolate. My favorites are those delicious Lindt truffles. What about you? If you have to choose between a candy cane and a truffle, what would you choose? P.S. I know we are all running around to get ready for the holidays, but please don’t forget those of us with books that come out during the holidays! If you haven’t already grabbed your copy of KILLER IN THE KENNEL you can get it today and pre-order my December 24th release, DANGER IN DADE, at https://amzn.to/4dt8sk3.

Choose 1 Fav: Bloodhound or Pitbull

In the last two books of the South Beach Security K-9 Division series, you get to meet Bongo, a bloodhound, and Mango, a pit bull. I loved pairing these dog heroes with the stories based on their best traits. For Bongo, it was helping Jose and Sara find clues and bodies with her amazing sense of scent in KILLER IN THE KENNEL. In DANGER IN DADE, former Marine Brett Madison and his pitbull partner Mango will help protect chef Anita Reyes who is a witness to a murder. Did I mention DANGER IN DADE is a second chance at love romance? But back to today’s difficult this or that choice. Are you more excited about seeing a bloodhound or a pitbull in your story? Would you rather see a different dog (and yes, you will see a K-9 corgi in next year’s CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING!) P.S. If you haven’t already grabbed your copy of KILLER IN THE KENNEL you can get it today and pre-order my December 24th release, DANGER IN DADE, at https://amzn.to/4dt8sk3.

Happy National Pie Day: Apple or Pecan?

It’s National Pie Day and I’m sure that many of us had some kind of pie on the Thanksgiving table. Most people probably had apple or pumpkin. Some had pecan pie, one of my favorites. If I had to make a choice between apple and pecan, I would most definitely pick pecan. What about you? Which would you choose or do you have some other favorite? P.S. KILLER IN THE KENNEL hit the shelves this week and if KILLER IN THE KENNEL has arrived, that means it’s only a few weeks until DANGER IN DADE (and Christmas Eve)! Tough Choices: Mashed or Sweet

Thanksgiving Day can be a real carb bomb. Stuffing, sweet potatoes, “juice” potatoes, or mashed! What to do? I love the sides but try to not overdo too much with the carbs especially since we also make a delicious corn casserole (look for the recipe on Friday!) I usually will choose the sweet potatoes over the regular potatoes roasted with the turkey in the juices or the buttery mash potatoes. I just love the baked sweet potatoes, all buttery and sweet. What about you? Would you choose the mashed potatoes or the sweet potatoes if you could only have one? P.S. OMG there are only 6 DAYS left until the release of KILLER IN THE KENNEL and my release day giveaway with Katie Mettner and Juno Rushdan! Drop by on the 26th to find out how to enter and in the meantime, pre-order your copy of KILLER IN THE KENNEL at https://amzn.to/3ZagaeV.

Road Trip or Flight?

I love to travel and visit new and exciting places. There’s just one problem with that: I hate to fly. If I could, I’d drive everywhere but obviously that really limits where you can go. If I didn’t fly, I wouldn’t have been able to go to far off places like Korea, Argentina, and Chile. Those are the farthest flights I’ve taken. But road trips have their own benefits since I can see the countryside and when it’s my time to take a break, I can whip out my laptop and get some work done. What about you? Would you choose a road trip or a flight? What’s the farthest place you’ve been able to visit? P.S. If you love stories set in other countries, grab a copy of THE FIFTH KINGDOM which is set in Mexico. It’s an action-packed romantic suspense with a twist you will not believe. Plus it’s specially priced at 99 cents. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/3O6FrjY.

Choose Fall or Winter Fun

In New Jersey we are on like day 35 of no rain and warm weather for this time of year. I’m actually looking forward to either wet weather or even snow so I can curl up under a blanket and just chill. While I was chilling, would I choose fall/apple cider or snow/hot chocolate? It might be snow/hot chocolate because chocolate, you know! LOL! What about you? Do you like fall weather and all it brings or chilly winter days and hot chocolate? P.S. KILLER IN THE KENNEL is set in Florida in November but I don’t think the hero and heroine in that story will be choosing either hot apple cider or hot chocolate. Maybe a margarita?
