Happy National Cookie Day! I love cookies, although I’ve been avoiding them lately as I try to lose weight. Again. Sigh. But when I do have an occasional cookie, it’s usually an Oreo, which is one of my favorites. I wish I were a better baker because my absolute fav cookies are snickerdoodles. I actually plan on making some of those, as well as pretzel crack, for this weekend’s cookie exchange. I wish I could channel Chef Carlo from NEVER A BRIDE since I’m not really much of a baker.
