Where in the world is Caridad?

Hubby and I have been busy watching our beautiful grandbaby but the boss parents gave us a week off for Spring break! We’ve been saving up for a few years so we could visit ***** and since the kids are off to visit the in-laws, hubby and I decided to finally do it! Can you guess where I am from the foods in the photo? P.S. You can visit the same place in DESIRE CALLS, a very spicy story featuring bada** vampires Stacia and Blake. They are two of my fav characters from THE CALLING IS REBORN vampire suspense series. The novella is specially priced at 99 cents! Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/3Rkf5MY.

Happy Wearing of the Green

When I went to college at Villanova, there were many people of Irish descent. That meant celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day was a big event. In the cafeteria, they would offer corned beef and cabbage, Irish soda bread, green-frosted cookies and sweets, and green milk to wash it all down. Yes, they would add food color to the milk to make it green. Which has me wondering, what kind of green food will you eat for St. Patrick’s Day? P.S. I’m getting ready to send out a new newsletter soon that’ll have something fun for you! To sign up, please visit https://bit.ly/CaridadsNewsletter.

Happy National Houseplant Appreciation Day

Whenever I go to the local gardening center or to Longwood Gardens, my husband dreads that I’ll bring home another houseplant. I have several of them around the house because I love seeing the greenery and flowers all year long! I have quite a number of different plants, like orchids, cacti, lithops, many air plants, and some African violets. This is a photo of one of my violets and a geranium that I love and keep for cuttings for the summer garden! What about you? Do you have any houseplants? Is one your favorite?

Cover Reveal Cliffside Kidnapping

When I finished the South Beach Security K-9 Division series with DANGER IN DADE, I knew there were two SBS cousins who still needed their stories. But I also knew they needed new challenges and to visit with their Colorado cousins who you met in COLD CASE REOPENED. That’s how the Crooked Pass Security series was born and I’m so excited to do a cover reveal for CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING (July 2025), the first book in that series. Like the SBS series, all books are standalone but have connected characters! I think you’ll love seeing Sophie and Robbie get their happily-ever-afters and also find out what happened with Jackson and Rhea from COLD CASE REOPENED. P.S. If you haven’t already picked up your copies of DANGER IN DADE and the other books in the SBS series, you can snag them at https://amzn.to/3PoCWdv.

P.P.S What do you think of the new series logo?

Unboxing Never Gets Old

Whenever I get home and I see that Harlequin box sitting on my front stoop, I always get excited. I approach it slowly, like in a romance novel. My hands stroke the cardboard lovingly until I sweep the box up in my arms and carry it over the threshold. Gently I lay it down and open it tenderly, revealing what lies at the heart of this wondrous box. A new release! Yeah! This time it’s my December 24th release, DANGER IN DADE. This is an action-packed second chance at love romance between a handsome Marine (aren’t they always handsome?) and a beautiful chef who worked near his base. He ghosted her after he came back from deployment because he was a changed man. Now they’re both in South Beach and the murder of a hotel owner draws them into danger. I think you’ll love this story, the last in the South Beach Security K-9 Division series. All the books are standalone but with connected characters and you’ll get to see the stories for the SBS tech geniuses, Robbie and Sophie, in the first two books of the Crooked Pass Security series! P.S. If you haven’t already grabbed your copy of KILLER IN THE KENNEL you can get it today and pre-order DANGER IN DADE, at https://amzn.to/4dt8sk3.
