I don’t normally do two This or That in a week but since breakfast is my fav meal and I’m often presented with this quandary, I figured I should put it to you also on National Pancake Day. Would you choose pancakes or waffles? Personally, I would choose pancakes or even French toast instead of waffles. Don’t know why. But occasionally, a good waffle hits the spot. Do you know what else hits the spot? 1.99 pricing on DECOY TRAINING and it’s the last day to get that pricing. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/3XiDDcA.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in last week on whether they liked to dip or drizzle their ketchup or other toppings on their fries. But today’s This or That is an all important question! What do you get when you have the choice of fries or onion rings. For me, hands down, it’s onion rings. I just love them. And yes, I dip them in my ketchup although I think they would be even tastier with ranch dressing instead. What about you? Fries or rings?

Shoutout to Lori Foster who posted something about this the other day! I love ketchup and use it in a number of ways although the most common is for dipping my french fries and onion rings. Yes, I confess. I’m a dipper. I don’t normally like having the ketchup drizzled over my fries or rings. How about you? Do you like to dip or drizzle? Fun Fact: The two chefs in SOUTH BEACH LOVE would also use ketchup in a number of ways, like in meatloaf or to make a Russian dressing. When my daughter was little, our favorite ritual was getting pizza on Friday night, whipping out the TV tray tables, and watching animated cartoons together. Half of our pizza was always pepperoni since that’s my daughter’s favorite. The other half varied but my favorite combo was onions and mushrooms. Some people like to go sweet on their pizzas and do ham and pineapple. I have to confess, I’ve never tried that although I have had dessert pizzas with Nutella and fruit. What about you? Do you like savory or sweet on your pizza? Pepperoni or ham and pineapple? P.S. I love Jersey Shore style pizza which is very thin and crispy. I can imagine Maggie and Owen from ONE SUMMER NIGHT cuddling while eating some pizza and watching a movie! ONE SUMMER NIGHT was a Publishers Weekly Top 10 Fall Romance and now it’s specially priced at 99 cents. Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4grtbX3.

Many of the heroes in the South Beach Security series and its K-9 Division spinoff have been military heroes, although I have had a psychologist, real estate agent, and tech geniuses as well. In the upcoming Crooked Pass Security series I also have several military heroes. That made me wonder whether I should change it up in a new series and one kind of hero immediately came to mind in light of current events: a firefighter. I’ll just have to figure out how being a firefighter works into a romantic suspense novel. What do you think? Would you like to see more military heroes or a change of pace like a firefighter? P.S. The first book in the Crooked Pass Security series is CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING and features a female tech genius heroine and a military hero who’s now a CBI Agent. It’ll be out in July 2025. I love breakfast, possibly because I love eggs and bacon. I almost always order breakfast if we’re going to a diner for dinner. What about you? Do you love breakfast more than dinner? P.S. It’s only a few months until the release of CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING but in the meantime, it’s not too late to grab your copy of DANGER IN DADE and the other books in the South Beach Security K-9 series!
