So much has changed in the publishing industry since my first book was published in 1999. Wow! So long ago. We’re lucky to have so many choices on how to read, from print books to e-books to audiobooks. I confess I still love having a print book in my hand. I’ll open an e-book only if I don’t have a print book or am unexpectedly waiting for something. I’m a very visual person, so audiobooks are not my thing, although I love listening to a good podcast while I’m driving. How about you? Do you like print books or audiobooks? P.S. With Valentine’s Day approaching, love is in the air! So many romantic things to think about besides flowers and chocolate. Maybe romantic songs? I asked myself what my favorite romantic song is, and it was “I’ll Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. According to Billboard, this song was originally released by Dolly Parton in 1974 and 1982, and then topped the charts for 14 weeks in 1992 with Whitney. What about you? Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I’m sure people are already thinking about what to do for their loved ones. A nice dinner out? Some flowers? Chocolate? Jewelry maybe? It’s time to decide what to do for dinner! Do you prefer to cook a meal at home or are you going to zip out the door for some fast food? Whenever hubby and I do a road trip, we always listen to talk radio or podcasts, and not music. I find that it keeps me more engaged, and we always learn something new. When I do road trips with buddies, like to a book event, we normally chat. One time we were so busy chatting that we missed our exit! LOL! What about you?
