Make Your Pick! Bookstore or Library?

You’ve reached a very dangerous moment. You’ve finished your last book and don’t have a new one to read! Where do you run? The bookstore or the library? I’m a strong proponent of libraries because they are such a vital part of the community, but I can also see the appeal of going to a bookstore, as they might have a larger selection. What about you? Do you run to the bookstore or library for your next book fix? P.S. Run to your online bookstore to grab the my new releases in the Crooked Pass Security series. You can dive into them at https://amzn.to/4gUmSwS.

Jolly Ranchers or Salt Water Taffy

The other day, I had the pleasure of doing a takeover at the wonderful Lori Foster’s Facebook Fan Page. I had a great time chatting about my new Crooked Pass Security romantic suspense series and the At the Shore contemporary romance series. As you may know, the CPS series is set in Colorado, while the ATS series is set on the Jersey Shore. That raises a very important question. Would you prefer a hometown Colorado candy – the Jolly Rancher – or a typical Jersey Shore candy – salt water taffy? P.S. You can grab your copies of the books in either series, or any of my other books, at https://amzn.to/48dTKOU.

Rom-Com or Romantic Suspense?

I have a habit that some would consider odd: I watch television while I write. Normally, it’s some kind of creative reality show, like THE GREAT POTTERY THROWDOWN or a true crime show. Lately, I’ve been taking a break by watching rom-coms. When it comes to reading, I lean toward contemporary romance with an occasional rom-com thrown in. I don’t normally do suspense, except for my fabulous fellow Harlequin Intrigue authors. What about you? P.S. If you love romantic suspense, check out my new Crooked Pass Security series at https://amzn.to/46qCvsh.

Who made the first move?

On today’s edition of this or that, something a little more personal. Share who made the first move in your relationship. Was it you or him? Oh, wait, you want to know who made the first move in my relationship? It was me, I think. We had met at Freshman orientation in college, and a few days later, I saw him sitting in my Biology class. But I knew from the seating chart that he was in the wrong seat and told him. LOL! I guess he knew I remembered him from our first meeting and was maybe interested. P.S. Connie from the At the Shore contemporary romance series would definitely have been the one to make the first move. Out of all the friends, she’s the one with the most moxie. If you love stories with second chances at love, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and small beach town feels, you’ll love this series! Read about her and the other women in the specially priced box set. All three books are only 5.99! Grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/47iyeIr.

Do you plan it or wing it?

Do you plan it or wing it? My husband teases that when we go on vacation, I plan our ten minutes of spontaneity. LOL. But I am usually a planner. Even with my writing, I plan now, although I used to be a pantser. What about you? Do you plan things or wing them? P.S. Siblings Sophie and Robbie Whitaker are definitely opposites that way. Sophie plans while Robbie acts on the fly. They are the hero and heroine of the first two books in the Crooked Pass Security series. Grab your copies today at https://amzn.to/45YmV73.

Is a Hamburger a Sandwich?

It’s an age-old question. Is a hamburger a sandwich? Same goes for a hot dog? If we say that a sandwich is meat, cheese, or some other filling between two pieces of bread, I think a hamburger is a sandwich. What about you? P.S. Nothing to do with hamburgers or sandwiches, except that Robbie in DEFENDED BY THE BODYGUARD is a bottomless pit when it comes to food. LOL! Grab your copy of #2 in the Crooked Pass Security series at a special price at https://amzn.to/45YmV73.

Dog-Ear or Bookmark?

Hubby and I are completely different when it comes to reading, and it’s not just about what we read. When hubby finishes reading a book, it is pristine. The spine is intact, and there are no dog-eared pages. He always uses a bookmark. I am the complete opposite. I love cracking the spine on a paperback, and I totally dog-ear the pages. If there’s a good quote or phrase, I may even fold that page in half so I can go back to it later. What about you? Dog-ear or bookmark? P.S. Robbie Whitaker, the computer genius in DEFENDED BY THE BODYGUARD, is definitely like me when it comes to books. As for Selene, the musician heroine, I picture her as the kind to use a bookmark and make sure the book looks new when she’s finished.
